We are looking for a Welder to join our Corporate family. The ideal candidate will have experience and/or training in MIG welding. They will build various equipment including material handling carts and racks, automation machines, lifting devices, and much more. They must demonstrate competency using welding equipment following all safety precautions. A steady hand and attention to detail are key elements of the position. Additionally, they will keep the facility clean by removing debris and trash to ensure safety.


Individuals of all welding experience levels will be considered; starting pay will be based on experience. Will train the right individual.

  • $22-$26/hour (based on experience and skill level)

Job Duties:

  • Position, align, and weld components for the formation of sub-assemblies and complete weldments of various metal materials using appropriate hand tools, jigs, fixtures, welding torches, etc.
  • Visually inspect work for conformance to print specifications.
  • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
  • Document daily output by completing required production and quality logs.
  • Keep the worksite clean.
  • Follow the company’s safety and quality guidelines.


Requirements:

  • MIG Welding Certification is a plus
  • Forklift certifiable is a plus
  • Meet the individual production goals and deadlines during shift
  • Knowledge of basic safety rules and standards
  • Can work alone or with a team


Physical and Work Environment Demands:

  • Must be able to stand/walk/work for 8-10 hours per day
  • Must be able to lift and/or move 25lbs., occasionally lift and/or move 40lbs
  • Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, and squat, reach above shoulders as needed for day to day responsibilities and other miscellaneous duties
  • Must have good hand and eye coordination
  • Must be able to work overtime, during peak production periods


Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of related welding experience preferred, not required
  • Will train the right candidate


Education:

  • Welding certification from a two-year college or technical school preferred, not required
